Timaru Boys’ High School Old Boy Don McCully (1963 – 1966) has returned to his former High School to direct The Ocean Star with Year 13 students.
Last week our rowers attended the New Zealand Secondary Schools Rowing Championships, also known as the Maadi Cup. We had eighteen boys competing with over 2,000 other competitors.

This was held in Nelson on the weekend of the 2-3 April.
Timaru Boys’ High School had two students competing at this National Event in Invercargill from the 8-11 March - Campbell Lindblom and Matthew Moore. Both boys did very well in qualifying for this event.
Senior Examinations
Nearly 100 boys have indicated they wish to play Hockey for the school this year. For this to happen we desperately need more coaches for our Division 3 teams.
Students have the ability to access various details from the School Management System (KAMAR). This includes; daily notices, timetable, attendance and results.
The South Island Athletics was held in Timaru in the first weekend of April with near-perfect weather, ideal for Athletics.
Congratulations to the TBHS volleyball team, winners of the Aoraki Championship who went through the tournament unbeaten without dropping a set.
