The Year 11 class is currently completing the tramping topic in class and undertook a two day tramping trip at both Mt Somers and Peel Forest at the end of last term.
On Wednesday 7 September, Emergency services arrived at Timaru Boys’ High School to attend a simulated crash set up by the SADD (Students Against Dangerous Driving) group, led by Ethan Grimmer.
During the recent holidays, George Hill, a very talented snare drummer in Year 12, who is also a member of the NZ Foundation Youth Pipe Band (Under 20's), travelled with the band to Australia.
Congratulations to Jack Winsley on his win at the recent Alpine Energy Art Awards at the South Canterbury Art Society's 64th annual show.
Timaru Boys’ High School continues to host a growing number of International Students who become important members of our community, either as short term visitors or as students who remain here for up to five years to complete their secondary education.
