On Tuesday afternoon we were joined by members of Matua Smiley Haua’s whānau to lay to rest the damaged whakairo (carvings) from our whare.
This final and most difficult challenge for a number of boys is called The Solo which is based around the boys completing twenty hours in isolation within a designated site.

The Condor National Schools 7s are done and dusted with our boys finishing 7th out of the top 32 school qualifiers; this was a great effort by the boys, who were supported by a strong and vocal parent contingent who travelled to Auckland.
Congratulations to Mitchell Skudder-Dey and Cam Anderson who were named joint SuperCup players of the year at a Football South Prizegiving in Dunedin.

Late Term 3, school staff (including all 72 teaching and support staff) were presented with a 15 cm square canvas to decorate.
Senior Art students have been busy over the three levels in Visual Art, preparing their external folios ready for assessment.
