Over the past month there have been several Old Boy Branch gatherings.
While numbers have been modest the goodwill and interest in catching up with fellow old boys and school happenings has been high. It has been a challenge getting momentum behind Old Boy gatherings post Covid.
The Ashburton Branch remains under the guidance of Alister Wing and Stuart Bennett. Eighteen Old Boys gathered for a convivial couple of hours in late October. Noel Davies continues to marshal events in Auckland and was confident of up to 20 Old Boys’ meeting for snacks and a chat the same evening.
The North Canterbury Branch members met up at the Elmwood Trading Co. on 6 November. Hosts were Dion Crooks, Lex Newbegin and Barry Palmer. Always good to see familiar faces and catch up on life events.
In 2026 we will be able to build on these gatherings and continue to share TBHS experiences old and new.
