Market Day
Our Commerce students recently put their business skills into practice with a Market Day, and what a fantastic success it was!
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event through their encouragement, enthusiasm and, of course, by purchasing from the students’ businesses. The support from our school community helped create a fantastic atmosphere and gave the boys a real taste of what it is like to run a business.
From planning and budgeting through to marketing, selling and managing customers, the students were able to put their classroom learning into action and experience the challenges and rewards of running their own enterprise.
We are particularly pleased to report that every student business made a profit. The boys were buzzing from the experience and can be proud of the effort they put into making their businesses a success.
The students will now evaluate their revenue and net profit, reflecting on what worked well, the challenges they faced and what they could do differently next time. A fantastic learning experience for our Commerce students - well done, boys!
