Aoraki Basketball Tournament
Timaru Boys’ High School Senior Basketball team claimed victory at the Aoraki Open Basketball Tournament, held on 11 June in Ashburton.
The tournament brought together talented basketball teams from across the region, providing a great opportunity for players to test themselves against strong opposition and showcase their skills, teamwork, and determination.
The boys performed exceptionally well throughout the day, displaying excellent commitment, communication, and composure on the court. Their hard work at training was evident as they continued to build momentum across each game, combining strong defence, effective teamwork, and impressive attacking play.
Their efforts were rewarded with an outstanding tournament win, a fantastic achievement that reflects the dedication and passion of the players and coaching staff.
Congratulations to the Senior Basketball team on this well-deserved success. We are proud of the way they represented Timaru Boys’ High School and look forward to seeing what they can achieve for the remainder of the season..
