TERM 1 NEWS
Term 1 has started out busy as usual at Thomas House with the welcome of Year 9 boarders who have settled in well. The new boarders have had a compulsory in where they did the annual Amazing Race, trip to CBay, Movie Night, Bubble Football and much more. It was great to have Lucy from TDC Road Safety Coordinator and also a Youth Officer who did our Bike Safety Course with the year 9 boarders.
Year 10 boarders enjoyed their visit to Craighead, donuts are always a win when it comes to our boys.
Our year 11 and Year 12 boys attended eyesupnz with Greg Murphy and Nathan Wallis speaking about Driving and the teenage brain. Some great content that has kept our boarders chatting about some of the distractions for teen drivers. This will be followed up with Street Smart in July where the boys will learn more practical skills around driving.
