SI MTB Champs
Held in Methven this was very challenging for many as there was a fair bit of rain leading up to the competition. The tracks were super slick especially for the U16 downhill race.
The U17's and U20's were more fortunate to race in the afternoon as a morning of sun had dried a lot of the track out, although there were still slick area's catching riders out.
The day of the Enduro race had great weather, unfortunately a couple of riders had mechanical issues during some stages (which is part of racing). But they came through with no injuries or major crashes.
We had 18 boys competing. Junior downhill riders had an overall standing out of 161, the seniors had an overall standing out of 214.
