Tournament week is always well supported at TBHS. It is great to see so many students participating in various sporting activities.
A brief overview
There were some nail biting finishes like the 1st XI Hockey who made the final of the Rankin Cup. A strong game was played finishing with a shoot out, the final ended with the boys taking second place - well done to the team and coaches this is an incredible result!
Senior Basket ball was up against plenty of strong competition, the boys held their own, only narrowly losing with close scores. The team placed a respectable 12th out of 24 teams.
Our U15 Colts were unbeaten in the 4 pool play games, charging through to take the win in the final. In the 25 years of this tournament TBHS have won it twice, the last time being 2006. This was a fantastic achievement and we look forward to seeing these boys progress over the next couple of years.
Football found themselves up against tough competition, the 1sts played with determination and never gave up the fight during the games, they finished the tournament in 5th place.
