NCEA
All Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 students have been given a guide for students/ākonga, caregivers & whanau 2024 which outlines the basics. You can also check the NZQA website for more material: https://www.nzqa.govt.nz/audience-pages/parents

There will be an NCEA information evening for parents early next term.


Literacy and Numeracy Assessments
To gain NCEA at any level requires students to have passed NZQA assessments in reading,writing and numeracy. These are done electronically at school in Term 2 and Term 3.All of Year 10 will be sitting these along with any senior students who do not have theirliteracy and or numeracy.More specific information will be sent out in Term 2.


Office 365
All students can download this for free on up to five devices. This can include computers at home. All Year 9 students have been shown how to access this.If there are any questions email Mr Burke: alphatech@timaruboys.school.nz
