August 4th (Term 3 Week 3)
Year 12 and Year 13 students will be invited to buy their tickets if they have met attendance and behaviour guidelines in Terms 1 and 2. Deans will talk to any students who do not meet the criteria.
Normal school rules apply.
- As this is a school function it is strictly a drug and alcohol-free event. This will be monitored by staff and anyone who is perceived to have consumed any alcohol or be under the influence of drugs will be tested. There will be police available to assist staff with the testing as required. Anyone who has consumed alcohol will not be admitted and parents will be asked to pick them up, and subsequent disciplinary action may be taken.
- It is important that any functions prior to the Ball are also drug and alcohol free so that no one is disappointed by being denied entry or being asked to leave.
- Ball participants will need to have appropriate transport arranged for the conclusion of the Ball at 11pm. No students will be permitted to leave before this time unless there are special circumstances and transport has been arranged.
- Parents are reminded that you will need to make provision for your son and their partner’s safety once the official school function finishes at 11pm. We are always concerned for the well-being and safety of our students and their partners.
