These much anticipated quiz nights took place with the Year 7 and 8 teams competing on Tuesday, August 9th and then the Year 9 and 10 quizzes the following evening.
Around 500 people participated over the two evenings and as always, there was a lot of energy and noise as our brightest and fastest competed for school pride and excellent prizes.
Our Year 9 teams were very competitive with the B team finishing midfield and the A team storming to a comfortable victory with what appeared to be some very challenging questions. Eric Li, Morgan Harbutt, Caleb Turner and Sam Tiffen were the winning team. Our three Year 10 teams were all in the mix with the A team of Charles Hall, Luke Winter, Luke O’Connor and Jack Parry right in the mix going into the final question but having to settle for second place to Waitaki Girls High School. Well done to all our students who took part.
