Our Jazz Band has being working towards our pre-ball entertainment performance (really looking forward to the ball!), and also had a wonderful day out in Oamaru, performing at the Garrison Hall to an appreciative audience at the end of Term 3’s first week back.
A special night also saw us supporting the Food Technology Senior boys’ fundraiser held on the evening of Friday 2 August in Thomas House’s dining room. The band was warmly received by the guests and added to the ambience of a wonderful evening. Special thanks go to Ms Nikki Hall, Music teacher at Roncalli, who assists and supports our TBHS band.
The TBHS Concert band also performed recently, entertaining the boys at assembly, with Ben Walker performing his Acrobat solo on trombone.
