Watch a short film about famous Old Boy Jack Lovelock.
Jack Lovelock won New Zealand’s first Olympic athletics gold medal at the Berlin Olympics in August of 1936. He did so in spectacular fashion, winning the 1500 metres in front of Adolf Hitler and 110,000 spectators. This short film celebrates his sporting achievements and also looks at the circumstances of his mysterious death in New York in 1949.
