Year 12 Science took a trip to Christchurch to visit Orana Wildlife Park and the Antarctic Centre on Monday 3 August.
The boys spent time learning about animal adaptations, the extreme environment of Antarctica and what they can do to help prevent climate change. They felt the effect of wind chill, experiencing -14 degrees Celsius, observed a range of animals, learnt about the adaptations they have for survival and enjoyed a 4D trip to Antarctica.
