This year we had five senior teams and four junior teams play in the Thursday night competition during Terms 2 and Term 3.
One of the senior teams ended up 2nd overall (Shaun Rooney, Jono Ellis, Tim Currie, Brad White and Louis Low) while two junior teams took out 1st and 2nd place (1st AJ Hall and Gage Switalla, 2nd Jack MacPherson and Liam Johnston).
At the end of the round they played a mini competition which saw TBHS place extremely well in most events. In the singles events, Charlie Stock placed 1st, with Kees Geels 2nd and Tim Currie winning the Plate. In the Junior section, Haowai Cole was the Plate winner with Jack MacPherson winning the Consolation Plate.
In the doubles competition, Jack MacPherson and AJ Hall ended up as the Junior Runners Up. In the Senior Doubles we took out 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Winners were Charlie Stock and Shaun Rooney, Runners Up were Kees Geels and Teigan Geels and the Plate Winners were Louis Low and Tim Currie.
Overall TBHS did very well in the Thursday Night Badminton competition and the boys can be pleased with their results.
