Cameron and David Ellis competed in the National Secondary School Indoor Bowls Tournament held in Wellington, in both the singles and the pairs.
There were sixty one competitors in the singles. David finished in 4th place, missing out on a place in the final by narrowly losing 11-10 on the last end. Cameron finished in 9th equal position.
In the pairs, the boys combined and finished in 5th equal position. David and Cameron were the team to beat after winning last year and the pressure was on them from the start. Although unable to repeat the success from last year, they can be pleased with their impressive placings.
