On 7 September all our Year 9 students were involved in a lively interactive Theatre Sports Extravaganza, which was based at TBHS in the Hobgen Hall.
Theatre Sports has a strong focus on our TBHS POWER values, where being a willing participant and having the right attitude are the key to success.
It was wonderful to witness our Year 9 students try something new, and for some students, it was a case of stepping out of their comfort zone.
This inaugural event was designed to reinforce and strengthen theatre skills in the Performing Arts in the drama curriculum which have already been taught during the Year 9 Drama rotation.
Abigail Austin was our fantastic energetic guest presenter who ran this event with the help of several TBHS classroom teachers. A massive thank you to everyone who helped to make this event such a success.
The TBHS Theatre Sport Club is a new cultural lunchtime activity available to all TBHS students, which is run every Monday at lunchtime in the Drama Theatre.
