Hell Reading Challenge

By TBHS | Posted: Friday April 5, 2019

This year, Junior students will have the opportunity to participate in the Hell Reading Challenge, sponsored by NZ Book Awards.

This has been running for six years at primary schools but we are delighted to say that they have now opened it up to Year 10s. If students read seven books between now and the beginning of December, then write a bit about the book in a special Hell Reading Log, they are entitled to a free kid's pizza from Hell Pizza. Students can use books from anywhere, it doesn’t have to be just from the library, so encourage your son to start reading today and keep their reading and literacy skills up over the holidays.

For more information, contact Mrs Hutchinson or visit the challenge website: http://www.nzbookawards.nz/new-zealand-book-awards-for-children-and-young-adults/the-hell-reading-challenge/
