Hi, I’m Will Pudney, currently the Student Representative on the Board of Trustees as well as being both a School and Hostel Prefect.
I have been working on the Board since August last year, and stand down at the end of September.
My role on the board is to act as a regular trustee, but also bring a student perspective to the table. I have enjoyed being the student voice during discussion, as well as weighing in on matters concerning the school’s pupils.
I am from the Mackenzie region, and arrived at Timaru Boys’ in Year 10 (2015) and have hugely appreciated the opportunities given to me during my time here, including rugby, academics, cultural activities, and leadership, e.g. the trustee role.
Like many opportunities at this school, the role of Student Trustee is one I would definitely recommend taking for anyone interested. I would like to give a huge thank you to the Board, and especially Mrs Bunting, for welcoming me into the team and making my term an enjoyable experience.
