Timaru Boys’ High School had two students competing at this National Event in Invercargill from the 8-11 March - Campbell Lindblom and Matthew Moore. Both boys did very well in qualifying for this event.
Campbell gained two individual
silver medals; one in the 200 metre Freestyle and another in the 400 metre
Freestyle. He was also selected to swim in our regional relay teams. In the 4 X
50 metre boys 13 to 14 Medley relay he gained a gold medal and he repeated this
feat in the boys 13 to 14 4 x 50 metre Freestyle relay.
Matthew Moore gained three silver medals; one in the 200 metre Butterfly, one in the 200 metre Individual Medley, and another one in the 400 metre Individual Medley. He also gained a Bronze medal in the 200 metre Backstroke. Matthew was placed second overall in his age group. Congratulations to both boys.
