This takes place for Year 9 students on Monday 1 August and Year 10 students on Tuesday 2nd August.
• There are no classes in the afternoon for the Year group during their conferencing time.
• Conferencing times will be sent out during the holidays.
Why might the staff member doing my son’s conferencing not be my son’s teacher or form teacher?
One: The conferencing teacher will have an overview of your son’s progress across all of his subjects along with details of attendance, fortnightly notes and will discuss what goals your son will have for the year. For Year 10, we also aim to have previous year conferencing material available.
Two: where possible, the conferencing teacher will be the same person each year so they will have a good depth of knowledge about your son and for continuity.
