Year 9 Visual Art students have been busy creating Monochromatic Masterpieces recently.
Featured are:
* woodcut-print portraits of the students’ chosen role-models, who were selected with the TBHS power values in mind;
* a selection of black paper cut outs showing double-imagery (the brief was to create vases with mirrored faces in the negative space) inspired by Salvador Dali’s Surrealist work; and
*an effective example of optical-illusion line drawing, which the student has woven around an outline of Aotearoa."
