Look out for each other

What times we are in................

As with all local secondary schools and so many in our community, Timaru Boys' was deeply impacted with the horror car crash that saw five of our local teenagers killed.

As heartbreaking as this was, we can all be encouraged by the wonderful support that was evident, not only in our school community, but in the wider community.

Now as we experience lockdown yet again, it so important that we remain connected to each other and treasure what we have.  Let's remember to look out for each other in both our school and extended families.

Continue to check in with each other: chat on Facebook messenger, Snapchat or Twitch and keep it positive!

If you are worried, talk to an adult - a parent, a family friend - or feel free to contact our Guidance Counsellor, Tony Bunting on buntingto@timaruboys.school.nz or text/call on 027 633 2412.

He aha te mea nui o te ao
What is the most important thing in the world?

He tangata, he tangata, he tangata
It is the people, it is the people, it is the people
