Honours were evenly shared in the traditional Otago Boys’/Timaru Boys’ Summer Exchange held in perfect conditions in Dunedin on Monday.
Otago won all three hard fought Touch Rugby matches 7-3, 7-4, 8-6. TBHS dominated the Senior Tennis with the team of James Watt, Josh Cameron, George McAleer and Matt Ellis winning all their matches. Otago won a tight tussle in the Junior Tennis while TBHS recorded a pleasing victory in the Colts Cricket scoring 109 and dismissing the Year 9 Otago side for 60. I In the Cricket 1st XI encounter played on a difficult wicket of variable pace and bounce, Otago batted first in a one innings declaration fixture and declared at 179-8. Caleb Donaldson recorded the best figures with 2-29 off 10 overs. In reply, TBHS could only muster 63 with William Sharp (14) and McGregor Isbister (10), the only batsmen to record double figures.
