On 23-24 February, the South Island Country and Town Swimming Championship took place in Blenheim. Timaru Boys’ High School had two swimmers attending this club event.
Campbell Plows swam in seven races, gaining a 2nd place whilst swimming in the Canterbury region 200 metre freestyle relay team. In his other six races, Campbell achieved top eight placings or above in all events, swimming four personal best times.
Joshua Young swam in ten races. He achieved two top ten placings, achieving two 9 second personal bests and finished in the top twenty in another seven of his races.

· Joshua Young: 10th 200 metre Individual Medley, 10th 200 metre backstroke, 12th 200 metre freestyle, 13th 50 metre butterfly, 13th 100 metre breaststroke, 13th 100 metre backstroke, 14th 50 metre breaststroke, 15th 100 Individual Medley, 19th 100 metre freestyle and 20th 50 metre freestyle
