Timaru Boys’ High School has a very active and supportive Parent Teacher Association (PTA). As well as organising and assisting with school events, fundraisers and Open Nights, the association also manages the Uniform Shop - selling second hand uniform items on behalf of parents.
One of the association’s prime objectives is to raise funds to provide additional resources and educational opportunities for students. We also strongly encourage parents/caregivers to be involved in the education of their boys by providing an important link between school and home.
The PTA meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the staff room. All are welcome to attend.
Second hand uniforms are available in the Parent Association shop, located in the Learning Support Suite. Parents wishing to donate or sell uniforms are requested to bring them along to the school office. Clothing should be in a named bag with address and phone number details. Uniform items must be clean and in good condition. The PTA sells on your behalf for a 20% commission. Any queries please contact the school office.
