Regional Cross Country
Tuesday, May 12th saw the regional cross country races over the familiar and challenging course at Ashbury Park. The weather was perfect and the quality of racing was very high with the region boasting some top quality distance runners at present, both male and female. Timaru Boys’ were successful in all of the 3 person teams races we target and the Scoon boys were both individual winners on the day. In addition, Jack Scoon’s 16.26 was the fastest time ever recorded at Aorakis’ for the Senior boys 4500m race.
