Yr12 Biology and Science
On 28 May our Year 12 students representing Year 12 Biology and Year 12 Science departed a cold and brisk Timaru morning for the equally chilly International Antarctic Centre, gaining a greater understanding of the world’s coldest continent.
Through simulated climates and encounters with resident animals, the boys experienced valuable hands-on learning outside the classroom. The day was topped off with an exciting Antarctic-style ride, rounding out a memorable and educational experience.
