Annual Prize Draw
Around 20 lucky junior students were selected to take part in last week’s annual PB4L Gold Prize Acknowledgement event. The group enjoyed an action-packed day, beginning with beautiful morning weather as they headed off for the Great Scenic Reserve Escape Room challenge, facilitated by the South Canterbury Museum. This activity offered students the chance to collaborate in small teams before ultimately coming together to solve the final puzzle and make their escape.
From there, the students made their way to West End Park for a well-earned takeaway lunch treat, followed by a round of Golf Frisbee, made even more entertaining by some challenging windy conditions!
To wrap up the day, they returned to school for pool-based activities, including kayak challenges and finishing with a lively game of water volleyball.
A massive thank you to the South Canterbury Museum, Mrs Van Heerden, Hostel Gapper Kyal and Year 12 Volunteers Flynn Driver and Finn Giddings for their assistance throughout the day, which helped to make this such a positive exciting experience for our students.
Thank you also to our PB4L Community supporters of Pak n Save, Sals Pizza, Hells Pizza, Subway, CBay, Frontrunner and Stirling Sports for their assistance throughout this year.
