Start dates, important dates and Year level stationery lists

Due to planned power outages the school office will be opening later than normal in January. The office can be contacted from the 19th Jan, 2026 by emailing: tbhs@timaruboys.school.nz
Wed 21st Jan - Fri 23rd Jan - the school office will be open at reduced hours. These will be posted on the TBHS facebook page in mid January.
Students are expected to attend in correct uniform.
Wednesday 28th Jan - Yr 9 first day of school (whole day)
Thursday 29th Jan - Yr9s and Yr 11 students only (whole day)
Friday 3th Jan - All students at school (whole day)
Students only need to come in if they have issues with their timetables i.e gaps or clash of subjects.
26th Jan - Yr 13 course confirmation (1pm-3pm)
27th Jan - Yr 12 confirmation (10.30 - 12, surname A-M) (1pm-3pm, surname N-Z)
Fri 6th Jan - Waitangi Day (school closed)
Wed 11th Feb - Swimming sports prelims
Fri 13th Feb - class photographs
Thur 19th Feb - swimming sports
