As 2025 draws to a close a message of goodwill goes out to all Old Boys’ , their families and supporters.
As evident in this newsletter Old Boy activity and engagement has real breadth.
Bill Thomas’s aphorism of the importance of ’the school beyond the gate’ remains so pertinent.
Thanks to all who contributed to Old Boy occasions in 2025. At home base in Timaru, Don Garland has chaired the Executive and Brodie Craig as treasurer shows fine financial management. Kelly Hamer very competently keeps the wheels turning as secretary. Paula McMecking has impressively advanced the organisation in the Memorial Library archives. To the Branch leaders thank you for keeping the Old Boy fires burning in your region. Rector, Dave Thorp recognises the value and contribution that comes from the Old Boy community. His active participation is much appreciated.
