Exciting community event happening at Timaru Airport on Saturday 18th October – Run the Runway.
Participants will get the chance to walk or run the airport runway, enjoy BBQ food, explore static aircraft displays, and be part of a one-of-a-kind evening atmosphere.
The event is designed to be family-friendly, safe, and fun – perfect for all ages. Every participant receives a wristband and certificate, and we'll also have spot prizes on the night.

A local community event called "Pause & Empower" designed to benefit all women in our community, by providing a real and refreshing conversation about mid-life health, from hormones to headspace, will be held on November 14, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Pleasant Point Golf Club. All proceeds will go to St. Joseph's Pleasant Point School Camps.
