The final Event of the Swimming Sports on Thursday was the traditional Staff v Prefects 8 x 1 length race.

The race had extra significance this year as the Staff and Prefects got together to present the "Stevenson Family Cup". The cup was presented to the winning team in memory of Deputy Rector Ross Stevenson, who has competed in the staff team relay many times during his time at TBHS. The Cup also recognises Julie Stevenson and her huge involvement in TBHS swimming over many years, also to their son Reed who was a premier swimmer at school in his time.

To Mr Dominikovich’s chagrin the prefects edged out the staff in their relay to be the inaugural winners of the Stevenson Cup. Congratulations to Luke and the Prefects for their nail biting victory in the race, and to the entire school for the support of the Event. We look forward to racing for the Stevenson Family Cup for many years to come.
