This year’s exchange was held in ideal conditions in Timaru on the 28th of May.

The Senior A Basketball side had their first win in this exchange for many years over their always strong opponents. They led all the way but were challenged by Otago’s full court press and outside shooting. TBHS displayed excellent poise and teamwork to come away with a 90-74 win. The promising junior side showed improved teamwork and intensity to also lead throughout the game in their 95-71 win.

The 1st XI Football sides had a hard fought one all draw. Otago had the better of proceedings early on and went a goal up, but TBHS managed to equalise through Archie Wigley. The junior football game saw an impressive 4-0 win for the home side. In a game that flowed well, TBHS gained the ascendancy through some structured attack and good one touch football. Daniel Jackson scored three well taken goals and was joined on the score sheet by Colton Sparkes.

The 1st XI Hockey side came out on the right side of the ledger in a tight match. Mitchell Johnson, with a well-constructed effort, provided the winning goal for TBHS. The colts match ebbed and flowed and ended in a two all draw. Scorers for TBHS were Max Elliotte and Sam Rabbidge. This was a good test for a TBHS side having their first game together.

In the 1st XV fixture TBHS were competitive in a 26-17 defeat against an Otago side coming off recent wins over King's High School and last year's national champions Southland Boys'. The TBHS pack led by Luke O’Connor, Nick Murray and Tui Latu competed doggedly at the breakdown to disrupt Otago’s momentum. Jay Reihana looked the most dangerous of the home side's backs when given room to move. The 2nd XV was worn down by a strong OBHS side in a 43-7 defeat. The Colts side fought back well in the second half in their 36-22 loss in what was a step up in quality of opposition for them.In the Trapshooting at Levels TBHS recorded a pleasing 380-356 win.
