Well done Oscar for shooting at a National Level.
Over the holiday Oscar traveled to Cambridge to compete in the 79th National Archer Competition. Oscar competed in the clout event and being the only competitor in his age group took out the gold. He was 10th out of 35 competing in the event.
He also shot for a full day in what is called a 1440. He shot at 4 distances. This day extremely challenging due to gale force winds.
Oscar also took part in a shoot on Waitangi Day, in a memorial shoot where he came first. He was competing via a postal shoot with other archers through out New Zealand.
