Congratulations to our entire TBHS Rowing squad for their amazing efforts at NZ Secondary Schools National Rowing Championship
All the boys rowed out of their skins and made 8 A finals and 3B finals. The boys picked up 3 medals.
Crews to medals are:
U16 Coxed Quad: Payo O'Sullivan, Blake Parker, Josh Bartlett, Ben Allan and Finn Gollins (bronze)
U18 Double Sculls: Sam Wilson and William Talbot, (silver)
U16 Single Sculls: Josh Bartlett (bronze).
An amazing effort from our squad of 10 boys, coaches Brian and Jaimee, managers Kelly and Kit and the wonderful team of parent supporters. The cherry on the top was for Sam Wilson to be invited to trial for the NZ U19 rowing team and William Talbot invited to trial for the U18 South Island team. Congratulations boys and good luck for your trials.
