Warmest congratulations go out to our Rowing boys who have had an extremely successful season to date.

Having achieved good results at the South Island Rowing Championships at Lake Ruataniwha in January, our boys have gone on to shine in the recent New Zealand Championships. Huge congratulations must go to our two crews that received medals:

· The Novice Double of Liam Parker and Harry Bampton raced their way to a silver medal.

· The Novice Coxed Quad crew of Fletcher Joyce (cox), Harry Bampton, Hayden Kennedy, Liam Parker and Joshua Wilson received a 3rd placing and a bronze medal.

· Special congratulations must also go to Tim Hepburn and Brad Cvitanich who were placed 4th in the Under 19 Double and Josh Wilson and Hayden Kennedy who were placed 5th in their Novice Double.

All the hard training and early starts are beginning to pay off and the rowers are now looking forward to the upcoming South Island Secondary School Champs, and of course, the Maadi Cup.

Sincere thanks goes to Teacher in Charge Mrs Ella Wright and the team of extremely supportive parents for the many hours they give to this sport – it is much appreciated.
