The teaching staff were able to take part in a Sustainability Workshop organised by Old Boy James Bishop (class of 1985) on the Friday before school started.
James is part of a training company based in Hong Kong but operating globally and over this past year they have been involved in sustainability training. More specifically, working in close alignment with the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
One particular workshop they run is in the form of a 2.5 hour game, designed for the participants to experience the impact their choices make on the world between until 2030. He runs this for his corporate clients, as well in the education sector.
The game created a number of opportunities for staff to debate and discuss sustainability. Thanks to James for providing this opportunity.
