For our senior students, we have reached the business end of the year. Students will either be sitting their school examinations or will have just finished them. Hopefully your son has made the effort expected of him and will have a good idea what he will need to work on to further develop his examination technique. After this, seniors will be completing their internal assessment programme before their final exam preparation in Term 4. It’s the time of year where some sacrifices need to be made for boys to make the best of their opportunities. We look forward to seeing their success.
The winter sports season is winding up culminating in the Waitaki interschool and tournament week. I would like to congratulate all students who have been involved during last term and this term and hope you have all gotten something out of the experience. We have also seen (and heard) several boys involved in the Arts and have appreciated their performances at assembly.
Check out the school Facebook page for more detailed coverage of everything our students have been involved in both in and out of school.
Mr Sparrow and I are enjoying our role leading the school and look forward to continuing this for the rest of the year. Mr Blair as Acting Deputy Rector is also contributing to the smooth running of the school and as a leadership team we are working well together.
