From the Director of Boarding...............
A big welcome back to all in the Thomas House boarding community. The start of term began with our recent, traditional formal dinner. At the dinner I made the unique comment that this may, “fingers crossed”, be our first full term of 2020. It is crazy to think that we are in the back half of the year and this will potentially be the first uninterrupted term.
Recently the hostel received the news that we could proceed with the planned refurbishment of the ground floor of Fraser Wing. The Dorm was last renovated in 1988 and is overdue for refurbishment. As part of the refurbishment we will be installing new double glazing and air conditioning as well as a separate common lounge
We are in process of finalising dates, but at this point the refurbished dorm will be operational for the start of 2021.
