As well as being selected for the National Secondary Schools’ Brass Band, Caleb Nicolson also made the headlines as the joint winner of the Youth Community Spirit Award at the recent 2017 Trustpower Timaru District Community Awards.
Caleb is an active member of the school concert band, jazz band and chamber music ensemble as well as a member of the Alpine Energy Brass Band which has seen him perform at numerous community occasions.
Caleb is also a member of Wilson Street Baptist Church where he is actively involved in leadership roles, a skill that is evidenced in his role as a Peer Support leader in the school. Caleb is also active on the sports field as a member of the TBHS 1st XV. Congratulations Caleb!
