A much needed facelift has been given to the Timaru Boys’ High School reception area which has stood unchanged since 1979.
Funded by generous Timaru High School Old Boys, the official opening of the building saw the ribbon cut by Old Boy, Mr Bruce Lund and was attended by both Old Boys and family members of school benefactors. Sincere thanks to the following contributors who made this upgrade possible:
As well as providing a new frontage, the outside walls house informative stainless plaques inscribed with the names of generous school philanthropists, and the inside foyer now has a Donors Board, also honouring our generous benefactors through the years. The names of these benefactors are:
