SADD Crash Experience

By TBHS | Posted: Wednesday October 26, 2016

On Wednesday 7 September, Emergency services arrived at Timaru Boys’ High School to attend a simulated crash set up by the SADD (Students Against Dangerous Driving) group, led by Ethan Grimmer.

The pretext was that a student had been driving while intoxicated and texting, injuring himself and three other occupants and killing a fourth.

A huge thank you to Timaru Police, Washdyke Fire and Timaru Ambulance services for supporting the day. It certainly made a positive impression on the students.

Thank you also to Ethan for all his organisation, and AJ MacKenzie, Tyler Laplanche, Robert Chapman and TeeJay Bailey for being “patients” and thanks also to the SADD committee
