The TBHS Sailing team competed at the Lower South Island Teams' Racing Regatta at Lake Hood on the 7th and 8th of April.
They were competing against eight other schools from Nelson to Otago and came second overall.
The team of Bryn Houghton (Captain) Nico Evans, Nathan Harbutt, Thomas Corbett, Nicos Shearer and Rainer Wilcock sailed well and learnt a lot about team racing tactics over the weekend.
We were also awarded the Southern District Teams Racing Trophy for the top team in the lower South Island, beating the Mt Aspiring College and Otago Girls’ teams.
