Our talented Art teacher Mr Wayne Doyle has again hit the headlines.
Painting portraits of well-known New Zealanders over the past year in a style that he names as "Spontaneous Pixelism", Mr Doyle is in talks with Timaru galleries about exhibiting the works, with plans to offer the double panel works for sale via his Facebook page.
The school has been fortunate in hosting a continually changing display of these New Zealand personalities who have included among their ranks Sir Edmund Hilary, maori activist Ta Iti, Jacinda Ardern, Jemaine Clement and currently, Dr Ashley Bloomfield.
