On 18 September, the Year 12 TBHS Hospitality students attended ARA for the Barista Course.
As a component of this course the students had to create and run a “Pop Up” coffee café called, Coffee to Go. The students took over 70 coffee orders for the cafe, via email or phone from other students and tutors at ARA, as well as make and deliver within a specified time limit. This was a great learning experience as the students all had to work together as a team, while under time and expectation pressure. Orders ranged from hot chocolates, cappuccino, lattes and in fact every variety the clients could imagine. Job well done.
