Barry Crump is a much loved author by the boys here at TBHS.
His yarns of life as a deer-culler and pig hunter have always proved popular with boys who have struggled to find books in the library that they want to read.
Unfortunately, the books that we have in the library are well-used and to be honest, falling apart (and that's the better looking ones). I have tried to purchase new copies for the library however, most of the books are out of print, the only two that we can purchase (and have) are "Wild Pork and Watercress" (which Hunt for The Wilderpeople was based on) and "A Good Keen Man".
To help keep our collection going, if anyone in the school community has any copies of any of the Barry Crump classic Kiwi yarns that they would be willing to donate to the school library they would be much appreciated!
