The 2019 Rite Journey Sing Off was held on Friday 28 June in Hogben Hall.
This is an event where each Rite Journey classes select their own song and perform in front of their peers. The concept behind this event is to have the boys work out of their comfort zone whilst showcasing some of their musical talent. The boys choreograph their own movements and work on their performance over a number of weeks.
This year's performances were of a very high standard and the three talented judges had such a difficult time selecting a winner that we have the first ever tie in the history of the Rite Journey Sing Off !!!
Both 10AD and 10RY were the winners of this year's event: 10AD sang Don’t Stop Believing by Journey and 10RY sang The Gumboot Song by Fred Dagg - both very contrasting songs!
Congratulations to all the boys who took part; you have shown that with a little bit of effort and getting out of your comfort zone, it is amazing what you can achieve.
