During the recent holidays, George Hill, a very talented snare drummer in Year 12, who is also a member of the NZ Foundation Youth Pipe Band (Under 20's), travelled with the band to Australia.
The band returned to NZ as the 2016 Australian Juvenile Champions and Drumming Champions, having competed against five other Australian teams.
